The secret garden…..

I’m back in Tisbury, Wiltshire, helping prepare for a family wedding this coming weekend, and whilst here I couldn’t resist a lovely walk with the ‘girls’. With rucksacks on our backs and wellies on our feet, we took off across the fields, with an excited Otti dog in tow. The destination - Pythouse Gardens, a gorgeous cafe hidden behind a high wall. This isn’t just any type of garden or even cafe, it’s a charactful treat for the eyes and tummies. Homemade cakes, savory goodies and chutneys lure you in and homegrown flowers and vegetables are all so tempting. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a spot of lunch, either sat inside or out.

To top off our little outing, we discovered another gem of a shop tucked away in the garden,  in a shed hidden behind a row of apple trees opposite the rhubarb - Daisy and Kims Little Shop. They are a boutique selling seasonal, second hand women’s and children’s clothes and accessories. Such a lovely collection and worth the effort getting there. One of the girls bought a stunning dress for only £12! I will definitely be back on a regular basis that’s for sure.

All in all we had a fabulous walk and would certainly recommend it.
